Every belt is cut, punched, stitched and burnished by hand — one at a time, on my own bench, from hide I picked out myself. No two hair-on-hide belts are patterned the same, because no two pieces of hide are.

Six leathers. Three hair-on hides — black & white, brindle, brown & white — over a heavy veg-tan backing, glued and stitched. Or plain leather: natural veg-tan, black, or brown.

Price
You pay for the leather you actually get. A 44″ belt takes a longer, cleaner run of hide than a 28″ does — and on the hair-on hides, fewer of those long straps come out of a single skin.

Size
Belt size is not your jeans size. A belt is measured to the hole you actually use, and that is usually an inch or two more than the number on your jeans tag. Go by the tape, not the tag.
How to measure — about thirty seconds
The easy way. Take a belt you already wear and like. Lay it flat. Measure from the fold where the leather wraps around the buckle to the hole you use. That number, in inches, is your belt size.
No belt to copy? Wrap a soft tape around your waist exactly where you wear a belt — over the trousers, through the loops, snug but not pulled tight. Round up to the next even number.
Your belt is made with your size at the centre hole, so you have room either way as things change.

The buckle
Buckles are their own thing here, and I sell them separately on purpose. A buckle is the part of a belt people have opinions about — a plain roller for work, something with a bit of silver for a show, or the trophy buckle already sitting in a drawer that deserves a proper strap under it.

Your name or brand on it
On the natural veg-tan I can brand or tool a name into the leather. That only works on light, natural leather — a brand is a burn, and it will not read on the dark hides, the black or the brown. Put what you'd like in the order notes.

Everything here is made by hand, by me, so I take five orders at a time. No rushing, no shortcuts. If you can add it to the cart, the window is open and your belt gets my full attention.
