Made to order. Choose your hide, choose your size, add a personalized ID patch.

Every collar is cut, riveted and burnished by hand — one at a time, on my own bench, from hide I picked out myself. No two are patterned the same, because no two pieces of hide are.

Size

Every collar has a run of adjustment holes, so your measurement doesn't have to be exact — it just has to land in the right band.

How to measure — about thirty seconds

You'll need a soft tape measure. No tape measure? A piece of string and a ruler works just as well.

1. Find the spot. The collar sits at the base of the neck — a little lower than right behind the ears, just above the shoulders. That's where you measure.
2. Wrap the tape around. Keep it flat against the coat and snug, but don't pull it tight.
3. Check with two fingers. Slide two fingers flat under the tape. If they fit, that's the room your dog needs. If they don't, loosen a little and read again.
4. Read the number where the tape meets itself, and round up to the nearest half inch. That's your dog's neck measurement.

Using string instead? Wrap it around the base of the neck the same way, mark where it overlaps with a pen, then lay it flat against a ruler. Same number.

Size chart

• S — 10–13" neck (25–33 cm). Yorkie, Dachshund, Mini Poodle, Pug, Shih Tzu.
• M — 13–17" neck (33–43 cm). Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie, Corgi, Aussie.
• L — 17–21" neck (43–53 cm). Labrador, Golden Retriever, Boxer, Husky, Pit Bull.
• XL — 21–25" neck (53–64 cm), +$10. German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Great Dane, Mastiff, Newfoundland.

Breed names are only a guide — two Labs can measure differently. Go by the tape.

Off the chart? I cut every strap myself. Put the measurement in the order notes and I'll make it custom to fit.

1 inch or 1½ inch wide

Standard is 1 inch and suits most dogs. Wide is 1½ inch (+$15) — a heavier strap that sits better on a big-necked dog, shepherds, rotties, mastiffs, and shows more of the hide pattern. On a small dog a 1½" strap is too much collar.

Add a personalized ID patch — $15

A smooth leather patch stitched onto the strap — with your dog's name and your phone number embossed in and hand painted, this can be custom, since I will make it from scratch. So go ahead and tell me what you would like and I will make it happen.

No jingling metal tag. Nothing to lose in a hedge. If your dog gets loose, whoever catches them can read your number straight off the collar.
